Digital scrapbooking, also known
as computer or electronic scrapbooking, is a process in
which valued photographs or images are enhanced with backgrounds,
borders, frames, bullets and text to produce a digital
composition which can then be published as a printed copy,
mounted on a web site, embedded in a slide show, circulated
as an email attachment or saved as an electronic file.
Digital scrapbooking
serves the purpose of preserving memories for future generations
in an enhanced graphic format which can approach an art form.
